Grayson McDonald, Baseball
Grayson McDonald capped off his time at Wake Tech with an historic season for the Eagles, setting a new single season record in innings pitched (77.1) and earning second-team All-West honors. He finishes with 130.1 career innings over 31 appearances and 21 starts for the Eagles. Aside from innings, McDonald led the team in strikeouts (73) and was second in WHIP (1.50).
McDonald made three appearances at the Region 10 tournament, picking up two saves against Brunswick in the championship round. He made his final start for Wake Tech against South Mountain at the NJCAA DII World Series, working six strong innings and striking out five.
McDonald has committed to continue his academic and baseball career at Belmont Abbey in Belmont, NC.
