RALEIGH, NC – Wake Technical Community College downed Lenoir Community College in three sets for fourth straight victory.
For the Eagles, Ahunna Akpuda had 11 kills and Eliza Thoto added eight kills. Jaide Holliday and Arianna King each had single solo blocks. Holliday also had two block assists.
Thoto and Akpuda each had two service aces.
While the Lancers stayed within a few points early in each set, the Eagles pulled away to win each set 25-20, 25-18, and 25-20.
The Eagles (13-4, 8-4) return to action on Thursday at Fayetteville Tech at 6pm.
