Madison Mathis named Honorable Mention for All-Region Team

Sophomore Madison Mathis was named an Honorable Mention for Region X All-Region Team in the NJCAA.  Madison transferred from Meredith College and started as a forward for the Lady Eagles.  During her tenure at Wake Tech she led the Lady Eagles in points with 16 points.  Madison had 7 goals and 2 assist with a game winning goal against USC Lancaster for a 3-2 victory.  "Madison is such a hard worker.  She came to Wake Tech in the fall of 2015 and wasn't eligible to play that season.  She focused on her grades and came out to spring training every session to get better.  Her work ethic and positive attitude helped lead her teammates as a captain.  I wish her all the best in her future endeavors," Coach Statum boasts.
