Wake Tech announces change in women's basketball leadership

Wake Tech Athletics announced Monday that head women's basketball coach Alonzo Lunsford is no longer with the program.

"I want to thank Al for his contributions to our program," Athletic Director Robin Pate said. "We thank him for his service and wish him well. Our priority is to support our student-athletes and position the women's basketball program for continued success, both on the court and in the classroom."

A search for the program's next head coach will begin immediately.
