RALEIGH, N.C. (June 26, 2018) – After a superb sophomore season as an Eagle, 2018 Wake Tech graduate Khadijah Daniels will be suiting up for the William Peace Pacers this fall. Today, Khadijah signed a letter of intent to continue her playing career for the Pacers, an NCAA Division III school located in downtown Raleigh.

"I'm thrilled to continue my education at William Peace University," she added, "I'm looking forward to making a contribution on the court as well."

After her freshman season, Khadijah got to work on improving her game by spending more time in the gym, which increased her confidence.  Athletic Director Barry Street, "She's grown as a student, player, and leader," he continued, "she'll make her teammates better this fall."

The D.H. Conley High School graduate played for two seasons under the direction of Barry Street.  In her first season, she was mainly a role player and averaged seven points per game.  Khadijah's scoring and playing time ballooned during her sophomore campaign when she averaged 18 points per game while seeing more than 200 minutes of action.

Between January 12, 2018 – February 17, 2018, Khadijah scored in double figures in 12 consecutive contests. Including seven games where she scored more than 20 points and three games with more than 30 points!
