Men's soccer to host ID Camp and Tryout in February
RALEIGH, N.C. — Wake Tech men's soccer is set to host an ID Camp and a tryout next month. The events offer two opportunities for prospective players to showcase their skills in front of the coaching staff. Both events will take place on Fields 1 and 2 at WRAL Soccer Park in Raleigh.
The ID Camp is scheduled for February 24 from 1:30–3:30 p.m. Registration begins at 1:00 p.m., and participants must pre-register. This camp is for participants interested in joining the men's soccer program, but not for the Spring 2026 semester. Participants must be at least high school juniors.
The tryout will be held two days later on February 26, also from 1:30–3:30 p.m. Registration again begins at 1:00 p.m., and participants must pre-register. This tryout is for current Wake Tech students who are enrolled in at least six credit hours for the Spring 2026 semester.
All ID Camp and Spring Tryout participants must have a valid sports physical dated January 25, 2025, or newer. Those selected to train with the team throughout the Spring 2026 semester will need a valid sports physical dated April 1, 2025, or newer. Participants will not be allowed to participate without a physical. All participants must also sign a consent waiver on site, which is required to attend the camp or tryout.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own water bottles; however, coolers with ice water will be provided.
Participants should come prepared for a full soccer workout, including cleats, shin pads, and appropriate athletic attire.
