Coach Dudley is excited to be working with the Wake Tech baseball program. Prior to joining the Eagles, Dudley was an Assistant Coach and the hitting coach at Heritage High in Wake Forest, NC for three years. During his time there, the Huskies finished at or near the top of the conference in several offensive categories. In addition to Heritage High, Dudley was also the Head Coach of the North Wake Fungo of the Carolina-Virginia Collegiate League for 2 summers. The Fungo won the batting title in his first year and led the league in home runs the next year.
In addition to coaching, Dudley has worked as an instructor and coach for FBI Baseball and North Carolina Amateur Baseball Club (NCABC) since 2015. There he has led group training sessions, hitting clinics, individual and group lessons, and camps as well as free coaching clinics. He also serves as the Head Coach for the North Wake Fungo Post 187 Legion team which is housed as NCABC.
Prior to his time with Heritage High, Dudley spent three years coaching the Club Baseball Team at NC State, including one summer as the assistant on the Carolina Pirates of the CVCL, as well as one year at South Stanly High School. He has also taken part in coaching at the 12u USA Baseball Futures Tournament, the South Atlantic Border Battle, and the USA Baseball National Talent Identification Series.
Coach Dudley is a graduate of North Carolina State University where he played 3 years of Club Baseball and South Stanly High School where he was a 4-year letter winner in baseball. He married his wife Meg in 2015 and they live in Raleigh, NC with their son Teddy.
