Despite Austin Fischer's 2-3 performance at the plate on Sunday, the Eagles took a 12-0 loss at the hands of Pitt CC at North Main Athletic Complex.
Bissette recorded the win for Pitt CC. He pitched five shutout innings. He struck out eight, walked none and surrendered five hits.
Pitt CC's Henrickson, Gesell, Lethworth and Beatty combined for seven hits and four RBIs.
Austin Warren ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
Pitt CC tacked on another four runs in the fifth. A bases loaded walk scored Vankern for the inning's first run. That was followed up by Lethworth's double, scoring Beatty and Gesell.
Pitt CC built upon its lead with seven runs in the sixth. A sacrifice fly scored Tippet to get Pitt CC on the board in the inning. That was followed up by Beatty's single, scoring Henrickson.
