Ten Eagles earn NJCAA Academic All-Academic Honors
Ten Wake Tech Eagles earned National Junior College Athletic Association (N JCAA) All-Academic Team recognition for the 2021-22 academic year.
RALEIGH, NC – Ten Wake Tech Eagles earned National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Academic Team recognition for the 2021-22 academic year.
The NJCAA announced the 2021-22 All-Academic Teams on Monday, recognizing student-athletes across the country for their dedication in the classroom.
Student-athletes are eligible to earn academic honors by achieving an overall GPA of 3.60 or higher for the 2021-22 academic year. For Wake Tech, five different sports had representatives on the NJCAA All-Academic Teams with baseball leading the way with six members. Court Volleyball, Women's Soccer, Softball, and Women's Basketball also placed members on the team.
The criteria for the three All-Academic teams are listed below:
NJCAA All-Academic First Team: 4.00 GPA
- Anna Baraldi (W. Basketball)
- Cael Laird (Baseball)
- Matthew Long (Baseball)
- Christian Schmidt (Baseball)
NJCAA All-Academic Second Team: 3.80-3.99 GPA
- Ellexa Falzarano (Court Volleyball)
NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: 3.60-3.79 GPA
- Atalya Sigler (W. Soccer)
- Kara Tacket (Softball)
- Andy Duran (Baseball)
- Kelan Polard (Baseball)
- Jack Sell (Baseball)
