The Eagles would like to have the fourth inning back again. Wake Tech allowed six runners to score in the bottom of the frame and Pitt Community College would go on to claim an 8-4 victory over the Eagles.
Courtney Kline went 2 for 3 with 2 runs, Breanna Boggs was 2 for 3 with 1 RBI.
Game 2
Hayley Lambertsen faced 30 batters on the mound. She thew for six innings, allowing five hits while striking our three. Hayley would try to help her own cause as she was 1 for 3 with 1 RBI in game two. Pitt Community College needed two insurance runs in the bottom of the fifth, winning by a final score of 5-3.
